Through my series Tending Her Garden (Cum Shots) I give a direct reference to glitter as a material expressed through the feminine body as a marker for pleasure. In recreating the marks of vaginal fluid from my own self pleasure, I highlight my body's gestural marks of pleasure onto floral silk sheet samples, giving hints to pleasure within a feminine domestic space. The glitter embodies bodily fluid from a past moment of pleasure in the very same way. Each Cum Shot sample measures 6”x 6”.
